As suggested I've added back an option for a recursive loop. So long as there's no stat changes to it, I can't see any reason why it would be game-breaking.
By the way, I was wondering how to get access to the nationstates rp chat, and if there was a verification process. If its a private thing I understand too

Apologies if this is rude, but does anyone know a good NS RP group? I would RP in this one but I kinda consider this group as more of a chill hangout with good vibes.

In addition I will say that my nation is of the very evil varient, I hope this help with any answers to my question
Traditionally in the CalRef server, ground floor was for general NS stuff and there was a mostly NS free general chat for folks who didn't play the game. We kept a similar layout when we made this server, but because everyone in this server plays NS they both work as a general chat.

Functionally the only difference is that people with the Visitor role can see human square, and only people with the Member and Friend roles (Refugia and Embassies) can see ground floor
returning player to the game (played it once like 5 years ago and didnt understand anything): can i let issues stack up infinitely or is there a limit to how many i can have in the queue?
Remember I saw a post once about how an astroid had hit northern norway millions of years ago
and a dude wrote, in northern dialect (Translated) "FuUuC, the news are so slow up here"

cause it wasnt a meme, I literally saw it in the comments on the news article lol(edited)
I've created another nation, Blod and Meolc. This new nation is not my primary one, which is Izzalia. I also brought my new nation to Refugia. Is that alright, and are there any rules around having a secondary nation that I should be aware of? I know not to join the World Assembly on the new nation.(edited)
Off the top of my head, more cards have come out, there's a second N-Day each year, there's a new system for which regions nations can be founded in, there are new types of World Assembly resolutions
12:53 AM
I guess it depends on whether you were involved enough in the past for any of this to be meaningful

I know there are some new stats for issues players but I can't remember them all
Huhβ¦ I wonder whatβs with the styling of Refugia as, well, a stable refuge. Are regions generally prone instability and stuff? Iβve played in NS back then but I was a kid so I mostly kept to myselfβ¦.

Also, are there limits to the amo. of land you can get for the region map? How do we describe what land we want to get?(edited)
Currently it's the councillor of cartography, yes, but there's actually a referendum which may change who controls the map. If that happens, there could be some delays in processing applications as we get things changed over
2:42 AM
As far as Refugia's concept, it stems from the web community which Refugia originates out of, Calamity Refuge, which aims to be a source of rest and respite amid a changing internet and world. NationStates is prone to a lot of politicking and drama and power struggles and such, so the theme carries over fairly nicely since we're a region that doesn't make alliances with voting blocs or raid/defense gameplay
You're totally fine, NS is super confusing and there's nothing that really helps explain a lot of this well
2:51 AM
r/d, also called gameplay, is where groups of people will coordinate "raids" on other regions, trying to use influence to disrupt things in a variety of ways, and other people will try to counter by defending against these raids. It's not my thing but there are people with experience on both sides who can describe it better
2:53 AM
With voting blocs, I'm referring broadly to the way prominent groups on the site will align their interests when it comes to World Assembly votes. Clusters of large regions will have similar goals or political incentives to either pass or shut down certain proposals for reasons other than the quality of the text - maybe it's what the author has done in the past, maybe it's what region they're a part of, maybe it's something else altogether
I'm the wrong person to ask about history and culture, but Refugia is safe from raids because the region's founder is present and active. Additionally, the high rate of endorsement means we have some additional resilience in the event that the founder protection were no longer applicable
Endorsements build influence, you get an extra influence point for every endorsement you have each day. Everyone except the founder of a region needs to spend influence to ban others. I think it's about a third of what the nation you intend to ban has.

Yea, as far as ive picked up the position is getting abolished or whatever, so I havent posted a map update as its gonna have to be replaced regardless :
If your nation is socialist, you want to choose answers that increase business subsidisation, or for capitalism you want to choose answers that increase economic freedom, and that should help it along a little bit quicker iirc

'ike, many folk here made card farm puppets; these are puppets that people answer issues on the get cards as to increase the chances of getting a good card which they can then send to their main
a lot of people collect cards, either to try and get more money off them in the future, or to have a card collection with a particular aesthetic/theme. Card farming, therefore, allows both a) easy collection of cards and b) collecting bank, maybe to by a legendary card that would take them a while to save up for otherwise
Mostly it's better to not have puppets in Refugia because if they're inactive, they dilute the region's stats a bit. But as long as you let the ops councillor know they're yours, they're allowed to be here too
does anyone know why Iβm not able to send commands (other than built-in)? Iβm on the website on mobile which I know is not how itβs intended to be but it should work okay regardless of operating system
That sounds like a bug with Discord's web-based version of the chat. Using application commands is a base permission of the @.everyone role, and no roles are disallowed from using them.
3:27 PM
You should still be able to use Dot's commands, if desired, by substituting the / with @Dot (edited)
It depends. Most issues that you qualify for will cycle around again and again over time. If I remember correctly, the only issues that come one time only are issues that are part of a chain, easter eggs, and the issues that come when you first unlock your leader, capital, and religion.
Hi! I have a question about the maps, I'm not really understanding much about them, mainly why there are other maps besides regional refugia map (I thought all rp was done there) and also why some of these alternatives maps also ask for a "world map"? (Idk if its the regional map or an WA map)
Anyways I would like to have my nation be part at least the regional map of Refugia but I believe to be best to first have a better understanding regarding this doubts that I have or have yet to have.
Any help regarding this topic would be appreciated but please ask me in case of any doubts regarding my questions.

Another question I do have is about the application for the regional map, mainly about the country size. I already have a lovely place I would like to be but I'm not quite sure how to determine the size of my country, although I have already a desired place, I'm also quite new to refugia (since returning to play NS) and I'm still waiting on my 1 week of existence to join the map, but anyways, what would be the best way to decide a country size? I do not wish to get out of line with my pick

population and/or issues addressed and age maybe just conform it with others , and if your desired place on map is near coast take as much of it as possible it will be less but still ( after, is my opinion it is solely your decision k)
I was wondering: how exactly World Assembly resolutions actually affect the member nations, and what does the little red icon notification on Refugia actually signify in the sidebar?
first question: all of the active, non-repealed GA resolutions, though a lot of people RP their own set of policies for their nation and ignore that
second question: unread RMB posts I believe

At the moment they're passed, GA resolutions will impose stat changes on all currently enrolled WA nations. These aren't documented or revealed prior to going into effect, and in most cases they won't be too significant - exceptions can occur if you have any stats that are much higher or lower than average. Other than that, it's all RP
can policies be changed by answering future issues? i just got the βNo WMDsβ policy but now iβm thinking i might need them if things go south and diplomacy isnβt an option
hello! i just made a new account and joined the WA - i remember there being a tool for determining which individuals in the region are WA endorsable, but can't find it. can someone please be merciful and grant me the url??

Can't be that confused if you call it masking. That at least indicates you are a longtime NS player.

As for citizenship, in Refuia, those are called Member States. You become a member state automatically when you are a WA nation in Refugia for seven days.
11:50 AM
When you meet the threshold, you'll be pinged in the Member State roster dispatch on The Local Authority nation.
Yeah, I just completely forgot about that because when I clicked Grab link I foolishly thought it was linking the image, despite it also being the URL lol
First male prime minister. There wasn't even a male deputy PM before this. I wasn't intending on making it take so long, it just kinda developed that way.(edited)
What does it mean when a nation motto is just "NationStates"? Is that one of the ones that mods changed for being against site rules or is it one that got left blank? I guess mostly a question for @Oops! Here we go again
There is an easter egg issue that only shows up if your motto has the word "NationStates" in it - some are more creative with it and incorporate it into their motto, but some (like me when I was a noob) simply set it to "NationStates" with nothing else added, the motto itself is nothing special /notaav
Theres other easter eggs with the motto so sometimes youll see ones like "nationstates and friendship" or "moo nationstates" as well! Those are prettu common
1:36 PM
I think mod changed mottos are typically one billion words
